Our Office
I started my practice in Haymarket in January, 1982. I had grown up in northern Virginia and wanted to return to the area to practice. The Haymarket/Gainesville area was attractive because it seemed friendlier and less hectic than areas inside the Beltway, and because its location allowed me to pursue my outdoor interests. For eleven years, the practice was truly a family affair, as I practiced in a home office with my wife helping at the front desk while we raised our four young children.
In 1993, the growing practice moved to downtown Haymarket into a new office building. With our new location we were able to design the office to take advantage of new technology, and we have continued with the policy of providing state of the art dental care to this day, with digital x-rays, soft and hard tissue lasers, an air abrasion restorative system, VELscope oral cancer detection, and Cad-Cam computerized in-office crown services. Of course, the best equipment and design is only secondary to the quality of the staff, and we can assure you that we have the most professional staff around anywhere. Everyone at the office shares the same values about caring for people, and work to treat patients the way they would want to be treated themselves. We are proud that we don't need a sign in sheet because our front desk staff generally knows everybody, and will work to ensure that our new patients seem like a part of our dental “family”. One of our favorite compliments over the years was from our equipment repairman, who said he loves hanging around our office because it is a fun place where everybody gets along and has a good time.
