Marshall
I have lived in Marshall for many years now. I moved to the area in 1996, returning to my farming roots after finding some land to build a home for my family. I embraced the rural life, developing a large garden, raising blueberries and Christmas trees, and tending a flock of chickens. I also enjoy the peace and calm of the area, taking in the magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains as I drive home from my practice in Haymarket each day.
I love the warm friendly atmosphere of the town of Marshall. We regularly buy our groceries at the IGA in town, and I can be found frequently shopping at the Tractor Supply Center and the Culpepper’s Farmers Co-op for my chicken feed and farm supplies. Hagerstown block supplied me with all the masonry to build my house as well as several projects since then. My four children attended Coleman Elementary and Marshall Middle School, where we got to know many other parents who share the same family values we have.
